About Michelle Szczesny
Michelle Szczesny has been in the hair industry for over 20 years. She is a hair extension expert and formerly a national educator for Great Lengths International. She has advanced training in wigs, hair pieces, creative color concepts and hair designs.
In 1992, Michelle took advantage of training in hair extensions. After learning all techniques, she chose to specialize in the single-strand technique (an integration technique used to add length, volume, custom color or texture to the hair).
In 1994, Michelle was recruited by Salvidor Mignon -- the inventor of Mega Hair -- to be a part of his artistic team and help build the reputation of the company.
Michelle opened her own salon in 1998 and two years later discovered Great Lengths. She became a certified technician and then chose to specialize in extensions and total image design.
In 2001, Michelle exploded in her extension career when she became a national educator with Great Lengths International.
Currently, she is incorporated as Salon Extend and proud co-owner of Salon MMM, located in the ‘Shops at the Providence’ in Palatine, Illinois.
